Unique Botox training

                     by Dentists

                           for Dentists

                                 & the Dental Team

The Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics offers a series of programs exclusively for Dentists & their Teams. The Institute’s courses on Botox are regarded as the premier dental training course by Allergan. Emphasis is on integration of the entire dental team. PTIFA’s programs include lectures and also small group, hands-on sessions to ensure an optimal educational experience.

Today the sophisticated patient has access to unlimited information, with the result that there are increasing esthetic/cosmetic demands from patients. There is a critical tie-in between facial soft tissue contours and the Dental Smile Design.

We are seeing more cases where the aging soft tissue aspects associated with the smile, if addressed, prior to the definitive dental cosmetics, can dramatically change the final restorative approach.

The benefit of being able to treat the dentofacial aesthetics as a whole rather than piecemeal is of increasing importance to today's patient. This change is similar to when we began to incorporate dental implants into the general practice in the 80’s. Today implants are an integral part of general dentistry. The ability to successfully treat all aspects of a cosmetic case start to finish is key to achieving ideal esthetic results.

As with dental implants, it is crucial that you have the knowledge to incorporate these areas into your treatment plan. You may elect to take the courses and perform these procedures yourself, or you may elect to refer the implants or facial treatments to other dentists or practitioners. An understanding of the concepts is important in either case in order to provide the state of the art Dental Smile Design for your patient.

The presentation is a day for the entire dental team. Participants will be introduced to Facial Aesthetic Treatment, including Botox Cosmetic, dermal fillers and Laser skin care.

The highly acclaimed Roberts Facial Rejuvenation Photography Series will be presented---enabling your patient to view themselves as others see them…and then the patient advises you what they would like improved!

By the end of the session, participants will have a sound understanding of what Botox is and the important details of history taking related to the treatments. A comprehensive review of facial anatomy will be provided. After the break, team members will be shown how to integrate these procedures into the dental practice. The initial telephone conversation and appointment booking, tray setups, and incorporation of Botox treatments into the recare system will be addressed. Time management, billing (GST), marketing of facial aesthetics and, if time permits, a team hands on reconstituting of Botox will be covered.
